Leave approved!
When I checked my work email yesterday morning it was there; one scanned and emailed official piece of paper granting me 12 months leave from my position. Hooray! My boss said my application must have been jinxed it took so long. Now all we need is a similar piece of paper from Steve’s work and then we will be able to start parting with serious amounts of money to book our adventure! First stop will be travel medicine (perhaps about $500 each!) and then some flights – don’t even want to guess how much flights will be but just as well we are selling a car.
