Our Swedish road trip was coming to an end.  We packed up the Vaxjo campsite and headed back to Kinney’s house in Horby.  Before we left the Vaxjo area we had to pop into the castle (slott) just down the road called Kronosberg Slott.  It weren’t able to go into the castle but we had a look from the outside.

Before leaving to drive to Vaxjo (Vek-sher), on our last morning in Falkenberg, I checked our email and discovered the fax we thought we had sent to Spain regarding our accommodation had not worked. So we set about faxing it again from the camp ground and crossed our fingers that it would work this time.

Leaving Stockholm the only thing we knew was which road we were going to drive on and that we would divert off the highway to Berg Slussar, another town made famous by the Gota Canal and it’s many locks.

Once again, my reading had told me that this was a sight that we must see if travelling with kids; and after a wonderful day of fun I have to agree.  Today we knew where we were going and had mastered the public transport system so we arrived at Skansen without issue.
